SURFCLASSES
For Beginners, Intermediates and Advanced Surfers. The surf sessions take place in small groups. Combine surfing lessons with authentic local experiences.
STAND UP PADDLE

Tribo do Mar - Teaching surf since 2005
Our surf school is the meeting point for one wanting to learn how to surf or improve.
Located at Praia da Consolação our school is an excellent option for those looking to explore the coast around Peniche. We’ll bring you to the best spot of the day. Peniche offers a variety of surf spots for all levels.
Each teacher works with a maximum of 6 persons at a time. We devote a lot of attention to explanation of rip tides, surf rules and safety in the water.

Surfing is not the easiest sport to learn. It takes time, commitment and perseverance in order to progress. But once you commit and overcome this barrier, the rewards are huge.

David have been teaching surf for decades. Naturally, his surf school offers a wealth of knowledge to surfers stepping onto a surfboard for the first time. As a beginner you will learn etiquette, safety, wave dynamics, paddling skills, surfboard positioning, maneuvering, proper stand-up, riding techniques and much more.

Surfing Safety is our number one priority while teaching. The ocean and waves can be unpredictable at the best of times. During your time with us we make sure you gain knowledge about rips, currents, wind, swell, rules and material.

David is the CEO of Tribo do Mar Surf and Sup School, with 25 years of Surf Experience and starts giving classes since 2005. He also made several trips around the world that allowed him to know the best worldwide waves.

Born with a tremendous passion and attraction to water. Live today in Peniche to spread it and show you this stunning area from the waterside. Stand up paddle is an activity possible for everyone to enjoy.

I surfed everyday and fell in love with it! Since then I have never stopped surfing. For me the surf and ocean is my therapy (like yoga for some people). The ocean is constantly teaching me her way of living and I’m adapting.”
